I wanted to post a response to the comment posted about my post regarding the slow-to-develop retail area. I think I know who posted the comment and if I'm right, I really respect your opinion and I thank you for your comments.
I think the reason I seemed a bit angry was because I read an article about 18 months ago before I moved into the area and Mayor Russell was commenting about how he expected something major by the summer of 2007. Perhaps I misread the article thinking it would be opening in 2007 rather than breaking ground in 2007. Needless to say, I'm sure you're right that everything will come together eventually and I'm excited about the future of the Village. I guess Schaumburg wasn't built in a day either!
