New traffic signal in operation
At first thought, you might say, "There's no traffic signal at 12 and Molidor Road yet." And you would be correct as the signal is actually at the intersection of Gilmer and Ellis Road. It looks rather funny all by its lonesome, visible from 120 as well as 12. I love the illuminated street signs which are starting to pop up at other intersections in adjacent neighborhoods.

Glad to see the new signal in operation. This is great since it will be in place when construction of Volo Village Marketplace begins in the spring and now we can visualize exactly where the new stoplight on Route 12 will be upon extension of Ellis over to Rt 12.
It was much easier to get this light in operation since Gilmer Rd is a county road, where as the Route 12/Molidor improvements are very costly and deals with IDOT rather than the county.
Again...vote for the Home Rule to help the Village continue progress!
